Coach Stormy Morris was born and raised in Abilene, Texas and attended high school at Abilene Cooper, where she was a part of the volleyball and gymnastics teams. Stormy then went on to attend Hardin-Simmons University where she was on the nationally recognized cheerleading squad and also participated in intercollegiate gymnastics. She graduated from HSU in Abilene with a BBA in Marketing Management. Stormy was a club gymnast from the age of 7 until she entered high school at the Gymnastics Sports Center in Abilene Texas.
Coach Morris has been coaching and teaching since 2009, where she started her first year at Brewer Middle School in White Settlement ISD. She was the head volleyball, along with assistant basketball and track. She came to Saginaw High School as the Head Women’s Gymnastics coach in 2010. In 2014 Coach Morris was named the Region 4 Women’s Coach of the Year.
She is happily married to a wonderful man who fully supports her, and her very (time) demanding career. She has a daughter born in 2014.
