After Losing To Chisholm Last Time, Saginaw Wins It At Home Tuesday

Boy's Basketball - Thu, Feb. 5, 2015
After losing the first time Saginaw played Chisholm Trail in this cross town rivalry, the Rough Riders came ready to play at home Tuesday night. It was a close game all night, while neither team could take command for long. Saginaw found ...themselves down at the half by 3 points. Going in the 4th quarter tied, Saginaw took posession of the ball and ran the clock down to about 18 seconds left in the game. T.J. Edwards drove the lane and got fouled. Edwards sunk both free throws to go up by one. Chisholm Trail attempted a long shot 3 pointer and missed. The Rangers tried to tip it back in four times before LaDamien Crawley secured the rebound and was fouled immediately. Ladamien went one for two from the line with .6 seconds left. Both teams played extremely hard and both schools should be proud of the players' and coaches' effort. Saginaw wins (45-43).
