Patrick Torres is Saginaw's new principal. He replaces Dr. David Priddy, who was named as the Executive Director for Educational Services for the district in May of this year. Mr. Torres comes to EM-S ISD from Grapevine-Colleyville ISD where he served as Assistant Principal for Grapevine High School. Mr. Torres has nine years of administrative experience. Prior to this, he was a high school teacher and coach for 12 years in Dallas ISD and Wylie ISD. He recieved his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of North Texas and his Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from DBU.
Mr. Torres comes to the district having served both his campus and district on many committees, including leading the creation of personalized learning plans for all 6-12 grade students as part of his district's strategic plan. He has facilitated professional learning communitites for staff and played an integral part in leading campus-based academic and character-building inititatives. He has also been deeply involved and strongly encourages and supports student participation in extracurricular activities and community service outreach. Welcome to EM-S Patrick Torres!
