Saginaw forced Chisholm Trail to OT, falling short in the end

Boy's Basketball - Fri, Feb. 5, 2016

The Saginaw Rough Riders took on the Chisholm Trail Rangers at Chisholm Trail Tuesday, February 2nd.

Saginaw started out with a fire and totally focused on what they needed to execute.  Chisholm Trail came out firing from beyond the arch, but the Rough Riders were able to endure by answering back and only being down by 6 at the half.  Saginaw had a big 4th quarter, and placed themselves in a great position to win the game.  However, they just came up short at the buzzer to end regulation.  Going up 4 in overtime, Saginaw had a couple key turnovers and had to foul in the end to extend the game.  These young men should be proud of how hard they played.  They played with heart the entire game.

Saginaw was led by Ashley Hill with 21 points, Malcolm McGruder with 16 points, and Malik Robertson with 13 points.
